A total of 588 posts will be recruited through this recruitment drive. In which 253 vacancies in Mining Discipline, 117 Vacancies in Electrical Discipline, 134 Vacancies in Mechanical Discipline, 57 Vacancies in Civil, 15 Vacancies in Industrial Engineering Discipline and 12 Vacancies in Geology subject will be recruited.
Eligibility Criteria in Geology Discipline
Candidates should have MSc degree with minimum 60% marks or M.Tech. Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geophysics or Applied Geophysics.
Eligibility Criteria in Other Disciplines
Candidates should have BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc degree in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks. Age Limit- The upper age limit for General (UR) and EWS category candidates has been fixed as 30 years as on 4th August 2021. It is noteworthy that candidates belonging to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) have a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit. On the other hand, SC / ST candidates also get a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
Selection Process
Candidates who want to apply for the posts should have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2021). On the basis of GATE 2021 score/marks and need, candidates will be shortlisted subject wise, category wise in the ratio of 1:1.50 for further selection process. Final merit list for each subject will be prepared on the basis of GATE 2021 score/scores.
Application fee Candidates belonging to General (UR) / OBC (Creamy Layer and Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS category will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1000 plus GST of Rs 180 i.e. a total of Rs 1180.
